Red stingray (h ó ng)
It is a fish species belonging to the family Serranidae in the order Actinopterygii, also known as the lid fish, cushion fish, red fish, fish, earthfish, slider fish, and ocean fish. [17] The body length is generally 50-60 centimeters, and the elderly can reach more than 1 meter. The red stingray is mainly distributed in southern Japan and southwestern Korea. It can also be seen in the South China Sea, East China Sea, Nanning in Guangxi, and the freshwater areas of Longzhou. More active at night. The omnivorous red stingray in the rivers of Guangxi is the only cartilaginous fish found in inland freshwater waters of China. Due to the extremely small population size and narrow distribution area, the living environment is severely endangered and requires protection.
